Procurement Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Procurement Coordinator to manage the end‑to‑end procurement process across the business. You will source goods and services, maintain supplier relationships, and ensure purchases are completed efficiently, cost‑effectively and in line with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement cycle from purchase request to supplier delivery.
• Obtain competitive quotations, compare pricing and negotiate best value.
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure compliance with approval processes.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; identify new suppliers when needed.
• Coordinate deliveries, resolve procurement or delivery issues, and monitor order status.
• Work closely with Operations and Warehouse teams to ensure efficient receipt and distribution of goods.
• Support inventory planning, demand forecasting and stock monitoring.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and purchasing documentation.
• Partner with Finance to resolve supplier queries and support invoice processing.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric (required); procurement‑related certificate or diploma is advantageous.
• 3‑5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or buying.
• Proven experience sourcing quotations, managing suppliers and processing purchase orders.
• Experience negotiating pricing and handling supplier relationships.
• Background in operational, warehouse, logistics or technical environments is a plus.
• Strong organisational, planning and follow‑up abilities.
