Procurement Coordinator (Afrikaans required)

About the role

An established company in Kya Sands, Randburg is seeking a proactive Procurement Coordinator. The role involves managing the end‑to‑end purchasing process, ensuring the right materials are available on time while maintaining cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment and general supplies.
• Obtain, compare and negotiate quotations to secure competitive pricing and suitable lead times.
• Prepare, issue and track purchase orders through to delivery.
• Liaise with suppliers on pricing, stock availability, deliveries and any outstanding issues.
• Maintain accurate supplier, pricing and purchasing records.
• Monitor stock levels with internal departments and communicate potential shortages.
• Assist in cost‑control initiatives and identify procurement savings.

Required profile

• Previous experience in procurement, purchasing or supply‑chain coordination.
• Fluent Afrikaans (essential) and strong English communication skills.
• Excellent numerical ability and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and administrative capabilities.
