About the role

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join a well‑established primary healthcare centre in Lynnwood, Pretoria. The role involves delivering comprehensive primary care services, supporting doctors, and ensuring high‑quality patient outcomes in a busy clinic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, triage, and vital sign monitoring.
• Provide primary healthcare services within the scope of practice, including medication administration, injections, immunisations, wound care, and basic procedures.
• Assist medical doctors during consultations and minor procedures.
• Monitor and manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
• Respond to medical emergencies and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medication adherence, and preventive health measures.
• Maintain clinical stock, ensure compliance with SANC regulations, and uphold infection‑prevention protocols.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse qualification with active SANC registration.
• 2–3 years of experience in primary healthcare or a GP practice.
• Strong clinical assessment abilities and a patient‑centred approach.
• Reliable personal transport and ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
