PM Technician II

About the role

The PM Technician II will join Heineken Beverages' Engineering Department in Springs, supporting the manufacturing line by keeping equipment running at optimal availability. You will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure production plans are met safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance according to OEM and internal CMMS schedules.
• Execute equipment change‑overs and optimise control‑system settings for production lines.
• Diagnose faults, determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate machine spares inventory and control maintenance budgets.
• Provide technical support and coach team members on equipment operation.
• Interpret mechanical and electrical engineering drawings.
• Ensure compliance with machinery safety, GMP, food‑safety and environmental standards.
• Utilise SAP engineering maintenance functions for work orders and spares tracking.

Required profile

• N6 equivalent with a Trade Certificate – preferably Millwright.
• Completed apprenticeship with a recognised institution.
• More than 5 years of practical experience in a high‑speed, high‑tech bottling environment (advantageous).
• Ability to work under pressure, strong attention to detail and proven problem‑solving skills.
• Self‑motivated, innovative and able to work with limited supervision.
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required.
