Pharmacy Manager – Mall of Africa

About the role

Clicks Pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead the dispensary and clinic at the Mall of Africa. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality pharmaceutical care, ensuring compliance with South African Pharmacy Council regulations, and driving sales performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the dispensary and clinic, ensuring accurate and safe dispensing, including generic substitution.
• Manage stock levels, shrinkage, housekeeping, and administrative tasks in line with merchandising standards and SAPC regulations.
• Control financial performance by monitoring expenses, meeting sales targets, and maintaining profitability.
• Recruit, schedule, and develop pharmacy staff, learners, and interns, ensuring proper labour compliance.
• Lead customer service initiatives to enhance the customer experience and achieve loyalty program goals.
• Collaborate with the clinic and healthcare aisle to provide a comprehensive health offering.
• Uphold company values and promote a high‑performing, integrated store culture.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist with SAPC registration.
• Minimum 2 years experience after community service.
• At least 1 year of people‑management experience.
• Registration as the Responsible Pharmacist.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of SAPC regulations and legal pharmacy practice.
• Strong ethical and compliance mindset.
• Proficiency in stock and cost management.
