Payment Operations Manager – Francophone Africa

About the role

Zepz is looking for a Payment Operations Manager to own and continuously improve the end‑to‑end payment experience for users in Francophone Africa. Reporting to the Director of Payment Operations, you will manage relationships with payout partners such as aggregators, banks and telcos, troubleshoot performance issues and help the company capture new optimisation opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow relationships with the payout partner network across Francophone Africa.
• Monitor payment performance, identify bottlenecks and drive corrective actions.
• Analyse transaction data to uncover optimisation opportunities and support new product initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (product, engineering, compliance) to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare regular reports for senior leadership on partner performance and operational metrics.
