Operations and Logistics Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Operations and Logistics Supervisor to oversee our fleet, facilities and operational logistics in Durban. The role ensures safe, compliant and efficient service delivery for our marine fuel supply operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor daily operational activities, including driver, vehicle and equipment scheduling.
• Track and report operational KPIs.
• Manage fleet maintenance, licensing and compliance through preventative maintenance planning and record keeping.
• Oversee warehouse, tanks, pumps and related equipment ensuring cleanliness and compliance.
• Champion health, safety, environmental and quality standards through inspections and PPE enforcement.
• Provide operational support during peak periods, including pumping operations.
• Maintain audit‑ready documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare accurate reports and liaise with contractors and service providers.

Required profile

• 3–5 years’ experience in operations, logistics, fleet or transport supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle fleets and maintenance requirements.
• Experience managing facilities such as warehouses, tanks and pumps.
• Understanding of SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality) standards.
• Ability to produce accurate reports and maintain documentation.
• Residency in Durban.
