Supply Chain Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and results‑driven Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimise our end‑to‑end supply chain operations, including local procurement, inventory management, international imports and exports, logistics coordination, and supplier management. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods, compliance with international trade regulations, and continuous improvement of supply chain processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory control, warehousing, transportation, imports, and exports.
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support business objectives.
• Coordinate international shipments and ensure compliance with customs, import/export regulations, and trade requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics service providers.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement effective stock planning and forecasting processes.
• Analyse supply chain performance data and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure service level agreements are achieved.
• Lead and develop the supply chain team to meet operational and strategic goals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–10 years' experience in Supply Chain Management within a manufacturing, engineering, distribution, or related environment.
• Proven experience managing both import and export operations.
• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and freight management.
• Experience in supplier management, procurement, inventory control, and demand planning.
• Previous leadership and people management experience.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management abilities.
• Sound understanding of ERP systems and supply chain technology.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
