Office Assistant & Cleaner (2 positions)

About the role

The role supports a clean, welcoming, and efficient workplace by handling daily cleaning, hygiene, and basic hospitality tasks. You will work on two sites, ensuring workspaces, meeting rooms and kitchen areas are tidy and well‑stocked while providing beverage service for staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Dust, polish and sanitize desks, tables and office fittings.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum all floor surfaces, including carpets.
• Deep‑clean kitchen sinks, counters and coffee machines twice daily.
• Empty trash bins and manage waste disposal in designated areas.
• Prepare and serve tea, coffee and water for management, clients and meetings.
• Set up and clear refreshments in meeting rooms, including board‑room catering.
• Wash, dry and store mugs, glasses and kitchen utensils.
• Monitor and replenish inventory of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, cleaning detergents and paper supplies.
• Report low stock levels and assist with re‑ordering.
• Maintain smudge‑free windows, glass doors and reception desk.
• Perform ad‑hoc clerical tasks such as shredding, photocopying, organising storage and occasional reception duties.

Required profile

• Grade 12 or equivalent literacy and numeracy level.
• 1‑3 years of verifiable experience in office cleaning, tea‑lady or hospitality roles.
• Ability to stand, bend, stretch and perform manual tasks throughout the workday.
• Impeccable personal hygiene and appearance, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Good communication skills with a professional, polite and welcoming demeanor.
