Job description
Greater Taung Local Municipality, an equal‑opportunity employer, is inviting applications for a range of permanent positions across its Finance, Infrastructure, Community Services and Spatial Planning directorates. Vacancies include Accountant roles (Supply Chain, Expenditure, Immovable Assets), an Artisan Plumber (Water and Sanitation), a Secretary, a Horticulturist and a Local Economic Development Officer. All positions are graded at Task grade 9‑12 with annual salaries ranging from R 261 708 to R 410 688 and are subject to the municipality’s employment equity plan and background vetting. Applicants must submit a completed application form together with a CV, certified copies of qualifications, identity documents and a driver’s licence. Forms can be requested via the municipality’s HR contacts or downloaded from the official website. Applications are to be delivered by courier or hand‑delivered to the municipal administration office in Taung before the closing date of 24 July 2026.
