Community Advisor - Diepkloof Branch

About the role

FNB is seeking a customer-focused, organised Community Advisor to provide frontline banking services at its Diepkloof Points of Presence location. The role is a 12-month hourly-rate contract within an FNB branch, listed as part-time. It covers customer service, banking administration, sales support, digital migration and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Serve customers promptly and professionally, understanding their needs and handling requests accurately
• Support sales and service activities, identify cross-selling opportunities and contribute to sales and service targets
• Help customers move from traditional transactions to self-service and digital channels
• Expand the active customer base and build customer relationships
• Check and verify transactions daily so new business applications are processed within required timelines
• Produce reliable sales and service statistics
• Follow FNB's governance, legislative and audit requirements and Golden Rules

Required profile

• Minimum: Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification
• Preferred: NQF Level 5 certificate in Banking, Business Administration, Customer Service or a related field recognised by FAIS
• 1-3 years of experience in customer-facing, service delivery or client support roles in financial services
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and customer-service skills, accuracy, discipline and strong process adherence
• Planning, organisation, time management, teamwork, ethical conduct and willingness to learn
