Multi‑Discipline Specialist – IT Integration

About the role

The Multi‑Discipline Specialist will guide the integration of a range of enterprise technologies across Nedbank’s business units. The role ensures solutions comply with governance, legislation and service‑level agreements while delivering IT leadership aligned with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Consult and advise on the use of multiple technologies to meet banking needs.
• Design, develop and configure integrated solutions, ensuring end‑to‑end availability within SLA targets.
• Identify and promote opportunities to leverage technology features across initiatives.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of emerging technologies, legislative changes and Nedbank’s IT strategy.
• Lead end‑to‑end design, validate component designs and oversee testing strategies.
• Participate in high‑impact incident resolution, severity management and vendor engagement.
• Document and present technical designs and impact assessments to stakeholders.
• Support knowledge sharing, upskilling of teams and alignment with group technology standards.

Required profile

• Advanced qualification (NQF Level) in a relevant IT discipline.
• Proven experience integrating multiple enterprise technologies in a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of IT governance, compliance and SLA management.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
