Marketing Coordinator

About the role

Hollywoodbets is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join its Team Support Office in Umhlanga, Durban. The role supports all Operational Management teams across the group of businesses, helping with queries about marketing and sales strategies and performance, reviewing financial budgets per entity and analysing ROI on marketing spend. It is a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all marketing activities and create and deliver marketing ideas and activities
• Work closely with Operations on strategy formulation and take ownership of marketing initiatives to completion
• Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports to Operational Management teams
• Implement marketing and advertising campaigns, including strategy, plans, objectives, promotional presentations and calendar updates
• Keep promotional materials ready by coordinating with the graphics department, managing stock and orders
• Research competitors and maintain research databases
• Create and manage social media presence and digital strategies
• Create, deliver, edit and optimise marketing materials and ensure messages are consistent with strategy
• Manage data security and accessibility, and assist with projects and events where possible

Required profile

• Valid driver's licence
• 1 to 2 years of experience with MS Office
• 2 to 3 years of administrative management experience
• A relevant diploma or degree in Marketing or Business Management is advantageous
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, growing environment and to travel intermittently
