Junior Revenue Clerk

About the role

The Junior Revenue Clerk will support the revenue and billing function, ensuring accurate invoice processing, billing administration and timely revenue reporting. This entry‑level position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to meet strict billing deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Process invoices accurately using Sage accounting software.
• Maintain recurring billing schedules and ensure timely billing cycles.
• Generate, review and distribute client invoices and billing sheets.
• Process accounting journals related to revenue transactions.
• Prepare and issue credit notes, investigate billing discrepancies and resolve them.
• Respond to client billing queries and liaise with internal departments.
• Handle ServiceNow tickets, update and close billing tasks within agreed timelines.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• 1–2 years of experience in finance, billing or revenue administration.
• Experience with Sage accounting software and recurring billing processes.
