General Worker Stacker – Packing Operations

About the role

The General Worker Stacker supports the packing department by ensuring that finished cases are safely stacked, palletised and ready for shipment while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manually remove materials and products from machines and equipment.
• Stack and palletise finished cases on appropriate pallets.
• Inspect materials and products for defects and verify bottom and end seals.
• Date‑code each case with the correct manufacturing sticker.
• Assist with lifting, carrying and moving loads up to approximately 25 kg.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and perform assigned sanitation duties.
• Complete finished‑goods tickets accurately and neatly.
• Support maintenance teams with basic troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
• 1 year experience in the milling industry.
• 6 months to 1 year experience as a stacker or similar role.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
• Good level of fitness and concentration; able to stand for long periods.
• Strong focus on quality and safety.
