General Worker – Stacker (Manufacturing)

About the role

The General Worker Stacker supports the Promix department by ensuring safe and efficient handling of finished products. This onsite role involves manual removal, stacking, palletising and quality inspection of cases in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manually remove materials and products from machines and equipment.
• Stack and palletise finished cases on appropriate pallets.
• Inspect materials and products for defects and perform quality checks on seals.
• Date‑code each case with the correct manufacturing sticker.
• Complete finished‑goods tickets accurately and maintain clean work areas.
• Assist with lifting, carrying and moving loads up to approximately 25 kg.
• Support maintenance teams with basic troubleshooting and sanitation duties.

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
• At least 1 year of experience in the milling industry.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience as a stacker or similar material‑handling role.
• Good physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods.
• Strong focus, concentration and ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
