General Worker – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

Join the Rock Drilling Tools Division at Epiroc as a General Worker. You will support manufacturing operations, ensuring production adheres to quality, safety and environmental standards while maintaining a clean, organized workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Operate band saws, overhead cranes and forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Assist with product finishing, deburring and basic CNC machine tasks.
• Follow work instructions and technical drawings to meet quality specifications.
• Maintain accurate time and attendance records and adhere to schedules.
• Apply Lean manufacturing principles and 5S methodology to keep the work area tidy.
• Stop production and report any quality deviations immediately.

Required profile

• Matric certificate with strong mathematics.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Commitment to health, safety and quality standards.
