About the role
We are looking for a reliable General Assistant to support the day‑to‑day operations of our retail business unit in Brits. The role involves a mix of customer service, vehicle handling and stock management, ensuring smooth workflow while adhering to company policies.
Key responsibilities
- Provide customers with order assistance and respond to inquiries.
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring safe handling of goods.
- Pack and organise yard stock items for efficient dispatch.
- Clean and safeguard company vehicles, including wash‑bay duties.
- Assist suppliers and internal teams with logistical needs.
- Maintain a tidy work environment and uphold health‑and‑safety standards.
- Promote and embody the company’s values and culture in all interactions.
Required profile
- Completed Grade 12 (or equivalent).
- Basic product knowledge relevant to the retail unit.
- Ability to work in various areas of the business as needed.
- Strong customer‑service orientation.
