Food & Beverage Manager – The Links Club House

About the role

The Links Club House in George, South Africa, is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead the club’s dining and hospitality operations. You will be responsible for delivering a world‑class food and beverage experience across the Club House, Halfway House and function venue.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the overall food and beverage experience in the Club House, Halfway House and function venue.
• Build and maintain professional, warm relationships with members and customers, ensuring intuitive service and prompt feedback handling.
• Maintain world‑class food offering and service standards.
• Create and implement strategies that drive success in food & beverage operations.
• Ensure efficient kitchen and front‑of‑house operations with consistently excellent product and service quality.
• Implement sound financial, operational and people‑management practices.
• Maintain stock and operating‑expense controls.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, CAPEX projects and audits to meet profitability targets.
• Develop and deliver strategic plans for the division.
• Manage day‑to‑day functions of the division efficiently.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years senior management experience in an award‑winning restaurant or exclusive/private club environment.
• Experience delivering world‑class dining and hospitality in a private club setting.
• Relevant international hospitality management experience is an advantage.
• Proven ability to lead teams and implement strategic initiatives.
