Food & Beverage Manager

About the role

The Capital Hotels, Apartments and Resorts in Mbombela is hiring a Food & Beverage Manager for a permanent, full-time position. The manager leads and coordinates all food and beverage operations across the hotel's restaurants, bars, banqueting, conferencing and room service, aiming for exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage budgets, stock control and labour costs
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, hygiene and liquor licensing regulations
• Lead and develop F&B teams across all outlets to deliver consistent, high-quality service

Required profile

• Matric
• Hotel management diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 5-8 years of food and beverage operations experience in a hotel or hospitality environment
• Previous management experience overseeing multiple outlets (restaurants, bars, banqueting, conferencing or room service)
• Knowledge of health, safety, hygiene, labour and liquor licensing legislation relevant to hospitality
• Hands-on problem solving, calm under pressure, strong communication and active listening, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Emphasis on staff training and development, honesty, attention to detail and professional appearance
