Finance Director – Tourism & Hospitality Group

About the role

This senior finance position reports directly to the CEO of a fast‑growing, multi‑entity organisation operating in tourism, hospitality and transport. The Finance Director will shape financial strategy, strengthen governance and drive performance across a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the company’s financial strategy and performance targets.
• Optimise cash flow, treasury and working‑capital management.
• Ensure best‑in‑class financial reporting, governance and regulatory compliance.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning.
• Provide actionable financial insights to support strategic decisions.
• Strengthen internal controls, including debtors and payroll oversight.
• Partner with senior leadership to identify growth opportunities and improve operational performance.

Required profile

• CA(SA) qualification (essential).
• Proven senior finance leadership experience in a multi‑entity, high‑volume environment.
• Strong expertise in treasury, reporting, governance and cash‑flow management.
• Commercially astute with ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience in tourism, hospitality or transport sectors is advantageous.
