Field Auditor – Retail Store Audits (Cape Town)

About the role

Truworths, a leading South African fashion retailer, is looking for a detail‑oriented Field Auditor to join its team in Cape Town. The role involves ensuring store compliance, conducting audits, and supporting accurate stock management across the network. You will work closely with store managers and the corporate audit team to ensure consistent application of policies and to identify opportunities for operational improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Audit retail stores to verify compliance with company standards.
• Participate in store stocktakes and reconcile inventory data.
• Conduct investigations into discrepancies and report findings.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years retail experience, preferably in store management, administration, or area management.
• Experience in internal auditing is an advantage.
• Degree or diploma in Commerce or Internal Auditing preferred.
• Valid driver’s licence, own vehicle and ability to travel up to one week per month.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
