About the role
Hollywoodbets is looking for a reliable Driver to join its Purple Team in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for transporting goods safely, maintaining vehicle standards, and supporting the brand’s logistics operations.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve and sustain driver score targets as defined by the company.
- Maintain full responsibility for the allocated vehicle, including safety, cargo security, cleanliness, and routine inspections.
- Conduct pre‑trip, on‑route, and post‑trip roadworthy inspections using prescribed forms and report any defects immediately.
- Ensure the vehicle is not operated while damaged unless repairs have been completed.
- Travel only on authorized routes, driving in a safe, courteous, and cautious manner.
- Load and unload goods, verifying that quantities and descriptions match documentation.
- Monitor loading and unloading processes, record any breakages or discrepancies, and report losses or damage to a supervisor promptly.
- Contact the home depot if a delay exceeds 30 minutes.
Required profile
- Minimum of 3 years driving experience.
- Good geographical knowledge of the Johannesburg area.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Matriculation is advantageous.
