DC Coordinator

About the role

The Distribution Center (DC) Coordinator will manage the flow of stock through our Spar Northrand Distribution Centre in Olifantsfontein. You will coordinate pickups, deliveries and stock levels to ensure stores receive the right products at the right time, supporting promotional activities and overall supply‑chain efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Place orders for stores via the call centre and process sales‑rep orders.
• Perform regular stock on‑hand counts for all principals and monitor expiry dates.
• Inform stores of promotional activities and ensure optimal stock availability for campaigns.
• Manage sales orders, returns, product recalls and short‑delivery follow‑ups.
• Liaise with sales teams, buyers and principals to coordinate deliveries and maintain high stock cover on best‑selling items.
• Conduct price surveys and resolve customer complaints.
• Plan and execute the optimal flow of merchandise, including capacity planning for marketing introductions.
• Take ownership of tasks, maintain quality standards and communicate any risks or delays.
