Civil Production Manager / General Foreman

About the role

The company is looking for an experienced Civil Production Manager / General Foreman to lead daily site operations on civil construction projects in Paarl. You will be responsible for overseeing construction teams, coordinating activities, and ensuring that quality, productivity, and safety standards are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations and supervise construction teams.
• Coordinate project activities across pipelines, earthworks, roads, and concrete works.
• Ensure compliance with quality workmanship and safety standards.
• Maintain productivity targets and monitor progress against schedules.
• Train, mentor, and supervise foremen and site workers.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Production Manager or General Foreman on civil projects.
• Proven experience managing teams on pipelines, earthworks, roads, and concrete works.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and SANS 1200 standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities.
• Valid Code EB driver’s licence.
