Business Centre Manager (Roodepoort: Clearwater)

About the role

Capitec Bank is looking for an energetic, self-motivated person to manage its Business Centre in Roodepoort (Clearwater). The purpose is to drive a proactive sales and service culture that retains and grows the client base, covering activity, planning and implementation of marketing, sales and support services strategies.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management or Finance; a Bachelor's degree in one of these fields is preferred.
• At least 5 years of banking experience, of which 3 years in a business banking environment.
• 3 years of managerial experience and significant experience preparing and motivating credit applications.
• Ideal: 4+ years directly selling business banking products and 3+ years leading a team of 10 to 15 people in business banking.
• Essential: budgeting, forecasting, cost control, sales management and accountability for a profitable cost centre.
• Clear criminal and credit record, a valid driver's licence and own vehicle, and willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

Required skills

• Financial modelling, activity-based costing, financial analysis and complex cash flow cycles.
• Business economics, sector risk profiles and trends, and MLM sales principles.
• General banking practice, competitor analysis, credit principles and legal entities in the commercial market.
• FAIS and FICA compliance, CRM strategy, and people management.
• Analytical, planning, communication, negotiation and management skills.
