Area Manager – Restaurant Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Area Manager to lead and optimise the performance of our restaurant portfolio across Cape Town. This full‑time, on‑site position will drive operational excellence, enhance customer satisfaction and ensure profitability of multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily operations and implement corrective actions for under‑performing restaurants.
• Ensure compliance with standards, regulations and company policies.
• Analyse financial and operational risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly performance reports.
• Provide leadership, coaching and strategic direction to restaurant management teams.
• Stay informed on emerging trends that could impact the business.

Required profile

• Proven multisite management experience in the hospitality sector.
• Strong leadership and delegation abilities.
• High attention to detail, analytical mindset and process‑driven approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Integrity, discretion and the ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Familiarity with the Micros POS system (advantageous).
