Apparel Sales Consultant (Secunda)

About the role

The Apparel Sales Consultant will help launch and grow a new apparel brand in Secunda. You will create an engaging customer experience, maintain store standards, and drive sales while supporting loss‑prevention and merchandising plans.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, engaging service and maintain a lively store atmosphere.
• Participate in store meetings, share performance data and identify training needs.
• Adhere to opening/closing procedures, trading hours and ensure proper staffing.
• Maintain store appearance, stock levels, signage, planograms and seasonal visual guides.
• Support front‑of‑house operations including pricing, promotions and donations.
• Monitor and mitigate loss, flag issues and ensure correct sales administration.
• Contribute ideas for improving customer experience and store operations.
• Assist the broader Apparel team and other stores as required.
• Uphold compliance with company policies, health & safety and security protocols.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in a retail or service‑oriented environment, preferably apparel/fashion.
• High energy, well‑groomed, reliable and able to work hard.
• Team‑oriented with strong interpersonal skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Understanding of retail procedures, loss‑prevention, health & safety and operational standards.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
