Salaried Financial Advisor

About the role

Old Mutual is hiring a salaried Financial Advisor in Secunda who advises clients on a defined range of products for a specific allocated market and is individually accountable for achieving results. The role covers customer service, solution analysis, business development and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service, process cases, handle complex queries and resolve customer problems
• Analyze problems and issues to find the best technical or professional solutions
• Receive visitors, refer complex matters to colleagues and schedule follow-ups in the CRM system
• Clarify customer needs, tailor presentations to decision-makers and build prospecting plans for potential accounts
• Monitor sales and market data for a region and develop a personal network, representing the organisation at business events
• Research trends and participate in internal and external networks
• Follow organisational policies, regulatory codes and codes of conduct, and obtain supervisor approval for exceptions

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Valid driver's licence and own car
• FAIS compliance: clear criminal and credit check
• At least 3 years of working experience, preferably in sales
• NQF Level 5 qualification or equivalent

Required skills

• Computer literacy (MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills (an added advantage)
• Consultative selling, direct selling, prospecting and sales data management
