Angular Frontend Developer

About the role

PathCare is seeking an experienced Angular Frontend Developer to join its team at the headquarters in Cape Town. You will work on modernising legacy systems, consolidating platforms and delivering new enterprise and client‑facing applications that support the health‑care ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and test UI components for mobile and web applications using Angular 7+.
• Build reusable, self‑contained modules and libraries for future use.
• Translate user and business requirements into functional front‑end code.
• Collaborate with back‑end developers to integrate RESTful APIs and ensure technical feasibility.
• Write high‑quality, well‑documented code and associated test scripts that meet PathCare standards.
• Participate in code reviews, maintain applications and provide technical support.
• Provide accurate work estimates and deliver features on schedule.
• Create and maintain software design and architecture documentation.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical abilities.
• Innovative mindset with a passion for user experience and UI design.
• Ability to work independently without close supervision.
• Experience in a healthcare or diagnostic laboratory environment is advantageous.
