Accounting & Reporting Assurance Senior Consultant

About the role

Support clients in aligning their accounting and reporting with strategic goals while ensuring compliance and audit readiness. As a Senior Consultant you will work on complex accounting issues, draft position papers and help clients prepare high‑quality financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Draft position papers on complex accounting and reporting matters such as restructurings, M&A transactions, impairments and CGU structures (IFRS/NL GAAP).
• Prepare accounting manuals that promote consistent, practical application of accounting policies across the organization.
• Assist clients with financial and group reporting, GAAP conversions, audit preparation and the drafting of annual accounts.
• Act as a specialist team member on audit engagements, providing expert guidance on complex accounting topics.

Required profile

• Completed degree in Accountancy, Finance, Controlling or Economics with eligibility to qualify as CA (SA)/CPA or near‑completion of RA/ACCA.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in audit or a comparable role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS; familiarity with NL GAAP and US GAAP is advantageous.
• Excellent proficiency in English (spoken and written); Dutch is a plus.
