Senior Manager – AI, Technology Value & Economics

About the role

This senior advisory position helps clients build economic management systems for AI, data and cloud‑intensive enterprises. It addresses investment economics, value realisation, consumption economics and commercial optimisation to ensure technology spend delivers measurable enterprise value.

Key responsibilities

• Develop investment cases and value‑realisation frameworks for AI, data, cloud and emerging‑technology programmes.
• Design consumption‑economics models covering cloud, data, GPU, inference, token and agent usage.
• Establish AI and technology unit economics, cost‑per‑transaction and workload analyses.
• Create portfolio‑level views of value, cost, risk and investment performance.
• Define showback, chargeback and accountability mechanisms and integrate finance, technology and procurement around a common economic model.
• Support CFOs, CIOs and business executives with data‑driven technology‑investment decisions.

Required profile

• Approximately 15+ years of experience in management consulting, technology strategy, corporate finance or AI economics.
• Strong quantitative and commercial problem‑solving ability with advanced financial modelling skills.
• Proven track record developing business cases and investment cases for large technology transformation programmes.
• Experience in cloud economics, FinOps and emerging AI economic models (generative and agentic AI).
• Ability to engage finance and technology leaders with equal credibility and to lead multidisciplinary teams.
