About the role
The Audit Manager will support service and business area leadership in implementing strategic plans through effective team management. The role assists partners in delivering audit services to clients on delegated engagements, with a focus on insurance and banking sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Supports the Senior Manager in delivering designated engagements, managing implementation of agreed deliverables.
- Manages and maintains oversight of team deliverables on client audit engagements.
- Communicates audit engagement agreement details to teams and monitors adherence to standards.
- Manages engagement budgets through accurate budgeting, cost control and profitability management.
Required profile
- CA (SA) qualification with a minimum of 2 years experience in an Audit Manager role focusing on insurance and/or banking clients.
- Proven experience in client‑facing management roles and ability to lead audit teams effectively.
