About the role
Lead process safety and drive projects from concept to commissioning at an established manufacturing facility. Reporting to site leadership, you will set the safety standard, oversee process engineering, maintenance and capital projects, and ensure continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Own the site Process Safety Management programme and ensure compliance.
- Conduct HAZOPs, PHAs, MOCs and other risk assessments.
- Manage capital projects from concept through to commissioning.
- Drive engineering reliability, SHERQ initiatives and continuous improvement.
Required profile
- BSc or BTech in Chemical Engineering.
- 8‑10 years of process manufacturing and process safety experience.
- Proven track record of delivering capital projects.
- Ability to lead safety on the plant floor and on paper.
- Strong decision‑making under pressure with clear communication at all levels.
Required skills
- Process Safety Management (PSM) systems and hazard analysis methods.
- Project management – scope, budget, schedule and contractor coordination.
- Root cause analysis and reliability engineering.
