Operations Supervisor – ZA Operations

About the role

The Operations Supervisor ensures smooth, safe, and efficient execution of daily activities at an Amazon fulfillment site in South Africa. You will act as the first point of contact for team members during your shift, guiding them through established processes and supporting the Shift/Area Manager in meeting performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Measure and monitor workflows, track on‑site performance, and relay shift information to frontline management.
• Support and train employees, supervising daily tasks and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Assist the Shift/Area Manager with projects aimed at process improvement, workforce engagement, and a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve common issues and support key performance areas.
• Utilise data analysis to identify opportunities for safety, quality, and productivity optimisation.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Logistics, Production, or Supply Chain.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or relevant field experience.
