High Reach & Counterbalance Forklift Driver (PPT License)

About the role

We are seeking experienced forklift operators for our warehouse in Heriotdale, Johannesburg. The role is full‑time and involves handling both high‑reach and counter‑balance forklifts. Candidates must hold a valid PPT licence and meet the experience and background requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Operate high‑reach forklifts to lift and place pallets on elevated racks safely and efficiently.
• Operate counter‑balance forklifts for loading, unloading, and internal transport of goods across the warehouse floor.
• Follow all safety protocols, warehouse procedures, and traffic routes while handling materials.
• Perform routine pre‑operation checks and basic maintenance to keep equipment in good working order.
• Record movements accurately and ensure proper placement of inventory according to the warehouse management system.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of proven experience operating both high‑reach and counter‑balance forklifts in a warehouse environment.
• Hold a valid PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) licence recognised by South African regulations.
• Maintain a clean criminal record, verified through background check.
• Provide recent pay slips as proof of prior employment.
• Available for full‑time onsite work at the Heriotdale warehouse.
