Finance Manager – Healthcare (West Rand, Johannesburg)

About the role

Network Finance is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance function of a growing healthcare organisation in the West Rand of Johannesburg. The role combines strategic financial oversight with hands‑on management, supporting senior leadership to drive performance and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full finance function, delivering accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
• Prepare management accounts and executive reporting packs within tight deadlines.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Provide financial analysis, strategic recommendations and develop financial models to support business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, statutory requirements and industry regulations, including IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
• Strengthen internal controls, risk management and governance frameworks.
• Oversee the annual audit, tax compliance, VAT submissions and statutory reporting.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, treasury, accounts payable/receivable, payroll and general ledger.
• Drive finance process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team while building strong stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• CA(SA) or CIMA qualification (essential); postgraduate finance qualification advantageous.
• Minimum 8 years of senior finance management experience, preferably within healthcare.
• Proven track record of managing a full finance function and delivering high‑quality financial reporting.
• Hands‑on experience with IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
• Extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and cash‑flow management.
• Experience managing external audits and regulatory compliance.
