Stock Controller

About the role

The Stock Controller will manage the receipt, verification and storage of all incoming inventory for a fast‑paced hospitality operation. You will ensure accurate stock records, proper rotation and minimise waste while supporting the wider team.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and check all incoming stock and deliveries, confirming quantities and pricing against invoices and purchase orders.
• Capture and manage stock data accurately in the inventory system.
• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly stock counts and reconcile variances.
• Monitor damages, wastage and ensure correct stock rotation and storage procedures.
• Maintain clean and organised receiving and storage areas.
• Collaborate closely with management and operational departments to support smooth operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of stock control or receiving experience.
• Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good communication and administration abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MarketMan inventory software.
• Computer literacy and basic IT skills.
