Project Management Intern

About the role

We are looking for a Project Management Intern to support the delivery of technology‑enabled projects within our HR team. This role offers hands‑on experience in coordinating project activities, tracking data, and preparing reports while developing foundational project management skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in day‑to‑day coordination of projects, ensuring plans, actions, and timelines stay on track.
• Maintain project plans, trackers, and dashboards using Excel and Monday.com.
• Collect, consolidate, and interpret project and operational data for reporting.
• Prepare status updates, reports, and meeting materials for project teams and stakeholders.
• Capture meeting actions, risks, issues, and dependencies, and follow up with owners.
• Log and track requests, issues, or queries in Monday.com and Freshdesk, keeping information accurate.
• Organise meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, minute taking, and action tracking.
• Support the project manager and team leads with general administration across multiple initiatives.
• Contribute ideas to improve project processes, templates, and ways of working.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a qualification in Project Management or a related field.
• Strong interest in project management, technology, data, and reporting.
• Experience or exposure to coordination, administration, reporting, analytics, or team‑based environments is advantageous.
• Comfortable working with digital tools, spreadsheets, and data trackers.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Monday.com for project tracking.
• Experience using Freshdesk (or similar ticketing systems) for issue logging.
