About the role
We are seeking a proactive, people‑focused HR Officer to manage day‑to‑day HR operations for our teams in South Africa and the UK. The role supports the full employee lifecycle, ensuring processes are compliant, consistent and centred on our people.
Key responsibilities
- Manage joiner, mover and leaver processes, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Prepare contracts, offer letters, amendments and onboarding documentation.
- Coordinate onboarding, inductions, probation reviews and off‑boarding.
- Serve as first point of contact for HR queries, providing guidance on policies and procedures.
- Support employee relations, performance processes, absence tracking and related administration.
- Maintain employee records and assist with HR reporting, payroll inputs and benefits administration.
- Ensure compliance with UK and South African employment law, GDPR and POPIA.
- Assist recruitment coordination, HR process improvements, policy rollout and employee engagement activities.
Required profile
- Experience in an HR Officer or senior HR administration role.
- Relevant HR qualification.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of HR compliance and data‑privacy requirements.
