Buildings Desktop Assessor – Claims Validation

About the role

OUTsurance is seeking a Buildings Desktop Assessor to join its claims team in Centurion. You will be responsible for validating building‑related insurance claims, quantifying costs, and ensuring accurate scope of work against agreed rates.

Key responsibilities

• Validate claims against policy terms and insurance guidelines.
• Liaise with clients, builders, engineers and service providers to gather information.
• Prepare and finalise claim reports and related administration.
• Draft scopes of work and calculate claim costs using agreed rate tables.
• Compare quotations, manage claim costs from inception to settlement, and ensure compliance with performance standards.
• Handle complaints and queries from internal and external stakeholders.
