Solar Site Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on Solar Site Manager to lead the installation, construction, and commissioning of commercial and utility‑scale solar PV projects. You will be responsible for daily site operations, ensuring health and safety compliance, and delivering projects on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day activities on solar PV construction sites.
• Supervise installation teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
• Monitor progress, quality control, and site productivity.
• Conduct toolbox talks and enforce HSE regulations.
• Coordinate material deliveries and equipment usage.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical plans.
• Liaise with engineers, project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Compile site reports, progress updates, and handover documentation.
• Troubleshoot on‑site technical and operational challenges.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in solar PV or construction site management.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV systems and installation processes.
• Understanding of health & safety regulations and site compliance.
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple site activities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
• Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or Renewable Energy is advantageous.
