Workshop Manager

About the role

Morgan Motor Group is looking for a Workshop Manager in Lydenburg to run its Service Department effectively and profitably. The manager ensures that manufacturer and dealership targets are met while keeping the highest standards of service quality and customer satisfaction, and is accountable for the overall management, performance and housekeeping of the workshop.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure service quality standards and profitability targets are consistently achieved
• Plan, manage and control workshop workflow to maximise efficiency and productivity
• Address and resolve all workshop-related operational issues
• Liaise with OEMs to ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and requirements
• Develop and implement marketing and operational strategies to grow workshop performance
• Lead, motivate and manage the workshop team to foster a high-performance culture
• Keep the workshop clean, organised and well maintained at all times

Required profile

• Grade 12; a tertiary qualification in a relevant field is advantageous
• At least 3 years' proven experience as a Workshop Manager or Service Manager in the motor industry
• Valid driver's licence and a clear criminal record
