Web Developer & SEO Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a creative, results‑driven Web Developer & SEO Specialist to lead the digital and search presence of a law firm. You will take an approved design mockup through to a high‑performance, fully responsive launch and continuously optimise it to generate new cases.

Key responsibilities

• Transform approved design mockups into fast, polished, fully responsive websites and own them end‑to‑end after launch.
• Build and maintain practice‑area pages, location/landing pages and blog templates within the CMS.
• Continuously improve UX, page speed, accessibility, security and bug‑free performance.
• Ship changes quickly – new landing pages, design iterations and experiments – without external vendor delays.
• Own site architecture, internal linking, crawlability, indexation, XML sitemaps, redirects and Core Web Vitals optimisation.
• Implement structured data and legal schema (LegalService, Attorney, FAQ, Review, Breadcrumb).
• Lead high‑intent keyword research focused on case‑driving terms and local locations.
• Structure and optimise on‑page content while maintaining E‑E‑A‑T and YMYL standards.
• Manage Google Business Profile, local citations and location pages for local map‑pack visibility.
• Contribute to link‑building and digital‑PR efforts to increase domain authority.
• Run CRO experiments on intake forms, click‑to‑call paths and live chat to convert traffic into signed cases.
• Own GA4, Google Search Console, lead/call tracking and rank tracking to shape a growth roadmap.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience at the intersection of web design/build and SEO (agency or in‑house).
• Proven track record designing and building fast, conversion‑focused websites on Webflow or WordPress.
• Strong understanding of technical, on‑page and local SEO strategies with measurable ranking and traffic improvements.
• Highly organised, able to manage a full web launch and migration independently under strict deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in marketing for law firms or other competitive, high‑intent local services is a plus.
