Warranty Administrator – Automotive Workshop (Midvaal)

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Warranty Administrator to join its automotive workshop in Midvaal. You will be responsible for managing the full warranty claim lifecycle for commercial and heavy‑vehicle customers, ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process, submit and follow up on all warranty claims for commercial vehicles and trucks according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Capture and maintain warranty documentation, job cards, parts usage and supporting evidence.
• Liaise with manufacturers, technical support teams and internal stakeholders on claim status, queries and approvals.
• Verify that warranty work meets manufacturer standards before submission.
• Monitor outstanding claims, resolve rejections or queries promptly, and ensure timely payment recovery.
• Prepare warranty reports, statistics and reconciliation for management.
• Support service advisors and workshop staff with warranty‑related technical and administrative queries.
• Assist in continuous improvement of internal warranty processes and documentation standards.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• Minimum 5 years proven experience as a Warranty Administrator or similar in a heavy, medium or light commercial vehicle workshop or dealership.
• Strong practical experience processing warranty claims for major truck brands.
• Solid understanding of commercial vehicle servicing, diagnostics, parts and repair processes.
