About the role
Africa Global Logistics South Africa (AGL) is recruiting a Picker M/F for its Johannesburg warehouse. The company has more than 50 years of experience and offers end-to-end solutions including freight forwarding, customs clearance, warehousing and distribution for multinational companies. The position is full-time and permanent.
Key responsibilities
- Pick stock according to the pick slip, ensuring the correct item, quantity and location.
- Check products for damage, correct quantity and correct stock number, and report all defects and deviations to the supervisor.
- Ensure all orders are clearly identifiable when handed over to the packing team.
- Report stock shortages and wrong bin locations to the supervisor or inventory team.
- Carry out any other reasonable tasks requested by the client, supervisor or manager.
- Follow all warehouse SOPs and keep the area tidy.
Required profile
- Matric preferred.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
