Warehouse Clerk

About the role

A client in the retail and wholesale industry is looking for a detail-oriented and organised Warehouse Clerk based in the Cape Town area. The role covers receiving and recording stock, keeping accurate inventory records, preparing orders for dispatch or collection and supporting warehouse operations. Applicants must live in and around Cape Town.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and record incoming stock and materials
• Prepare orders for dispatch or collection
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies
• Carry out routine warehouse inspections for cleanliness and safety
• Identify and report damaged, lost or surplus stock
• Perform general administrative duties to support warehouse and depot operations

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment, preferably as a Warehouse Clerk
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Knowledge of warehouse and logistics systems
