Waiter – Guest Service at Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Waiter to join the service team at One&Only Cape Town. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a luxury hotel restaurant, handling both table service and support tasks such as bussing and food running.

Key responsibilities

• Take orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen, bar and sake bar.
• Serve food and beverages, ensuring timing aligns with the Nobu concept.
• Maintain table cleanliness by clearing plates, glasses and assisting with station upkeep.
• Support fellow waitstaff by clearing stations, assisting with empty glasses and plates, and responding to guest needs promptly.
• Monitor guest age for compliance with alcohol service regulations.
• Carry trays and plates confidently and safely.
• Maintain full knowledge of the food menu, bar and sake bar offerings.

Required profile

• Fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and stay calm under pressure.
• Strong communication skills with guests and team members.
• Attention to detail and proactive approach to guest service.
