About the role
The Verification Agent plays a critical role in safeguarding the organisation against financial loss and operational exposure by detecting and managing potential fraud risks. This position involves continuous monitoring of transactions, timely reporting of suspicious activities, and decisive action on affected accounts.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and escalate potential fraud risks.
- Monitor transactions accurately and maintain precise records.
- Report suspicious activity promptly to relevant stakeholders.
- Block or reinstate accounts based on fraud investigations.
- Utilise multiple fraud‑detection systems to analyse patterns.
- Recognise emerging fraud trends and recommend preventive measures.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of integrity and commitment to data confidentiality.
