BEE Verification Analyst

About the role

The BEE Verification Analyst will join a leading B‑BBEE verification agency to assess client submissions against the B‑BBEE Codes of Good Practice. The role involves detailed analysis of documentation, calculation of scores and ensuring compliance with legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse B‑BBEE verification documentation and supporting evidence.
• Assess client information against the applicable B‑BBEE Codes of Good Practice.
• Identify discrepancies, gaps and potential areas of non‑compliance and request additional documentation.
• Perform calculations and analyse data to determine B‑BBEE scores.
• Maintain accurate verification files and meet turnaround deadlines.
• Liaise with clients to clarify information and ensure completeness.
• Stay updated on changes to B‑BBEE legislation and verification requirements.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, HR, Auditing or related field.
• 2–4 years’ experience in B‑BBEE verification or a related environment.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Based in or able to commute to Randburg.
